Donna Strebeck is best known for her creative and inspired use of unique textures and unusual fabrics when creating whimsical soft sculptures, wall pieces, and original fashion designs. Though considered self-taught, Donna credits much of her creativity to the influence of talented artists on both sides of her family. She has dreamed up imaginative creatures, like monsters, octopuses, and more. Her critters have been successfully sold throughout the United States, online and at local vendors. In 2019 Donna enjoyed the challenge of creating new fashions from unconventional fabrics and upcycled textiles for the Agora Borealis annual fashion show and placed in the top 3, moving on to round two, where she was named the first ever Louisiana Fashion Prize winner.
