This artwork emits our current frame of mind while enduring a pandemic, experiencing certain environmental, and socio-political issues. Generally, the frame is viewed as an extension of the artwork and as a support to keep it all together and presentable. Whereas this support system cast out of acrylic paint is the art. The frame is fragile, falling apart slowly over time, and barely hanging on. Much like the saying goes, “A broken crayon still colors,” this broken frame is still art and we will also persevere, one day at a time without knowing what’s ahead.
