Inhergi is personal as it’s influenced by the emotion and energy experienced through this past year. It’s not only this horrible quarantine, but experiencing higher levels of depression and anxiety, dealing with the feeling of changing prescriptions to handle my mental well being, losing my job and realizing it was in my best interest, mentally, not to go back to work, and then surprisingly, finding myself in the healthiest relationship I’ve ever been in. And despite being afraid of love because of hurt and disappointment, this man, this light who I call my sun, he helped me to see the best side or version of myself through all the ugliness. He challenged me, made me look face to face with my insecurities, and my fears. He refused to leave my side no matter how much I pushed him away (laughter) because of my stubbornness. I am grateful for his spirit or his energy he impressed on me. These emotions helped me create one of my best works. And I dedicate it to those who felt there was no way to keep going, to those who are still choosing to continue writing their story, letting their energy speak.
