In applying successive layers of acrylic paint and vivisecting with various carving tools, I present myself deconstructed.

I build up the foundation of who I am through the representation of different colors of paint and once piqued.

I anatomize the portrait akin to an autopsy examining each remnant or section cut.

The artwork becomes a method of painting pathology with a side of cathartic chaos. What remains on view is the true bare essence of myself.
