Artist Bio
Drew is an artist capable in many hand-done graphic mediums – pencil, water color, oil, acrylic and pen & ink. He embraces and appreciates all styles. And yet his most notable work definitely lies in the realm of the odd – the strange – the mystical -- even the macabre. In all this Drew, via his imagination, finds great beauty, contentment, accomplishment and peace.
His distinctive painting style is very organic and very representational. Lines, textures, shadows and colors flow across the canvas to elicit an emotional reaction from the viewer. That reaction may be immediate, but often and surprisingly it may surface later, subconsciously, in dreams.
Hence, Drew’s slogan for his work: "Dreams As Art."
