TATTOO in 2009 was an exhibition that showed a look into the history of the American Tattoo and how it had transformed from taboo to mainstream. Its goal was to introduce a new audience to the Art of Tattoo and showcase the impact of the tattoo on American Culture. At the opening of TATTOO, admission was charged, but if you showed a tattoo at the door, you would get in free. Beloved Patron of the Arts Delton Harrison proudly showed a temporary tattoo at the door! The large,  diverse and lively crowd perused the photographs of tattoos, tattoo paraphernalia, and timelines depicting the significance of tattoos, while becoming the exhibition themselves - showing off their ink to any who asked about their tattoo experiences.
