artspace is a miraculous place where anything can happen
and your event will be miraculous!

Set within the West Edge Arts District of beautiful Downtown Shreveport, artspace’s unique and stylish facility featuring contemporary open gallery spaces makes it the ideal location for wedding celebrations, anniversary/ birthday parties, and formal occasions, and corporate events.

We pride ourselves in our ability to design an event for you within the current Exhibition allowing your guests to experience the occasion in an artistic setting.  Pricing is based on competitive rates with all the amenities you desire and can even include thematic decor and music.  Hours of operation can be adjusted to meet your schedule.  artspace can accommodate up to 600 persons in the entire building.  When you have your event at artspace your guests will have access to the entire building and can enjoy all of the exhibits and shop in our gift shop.

RENTAL FEESBasic rental fee of artspace is $1,200 and includes set up time, the duration of the event, and take down/clean-up of the event.  The entire building may be rented and has a maximum capacity of 600 persons.  Rental fee includes viewing all the exhibits, limited use of certain items owned by artspace (chairs and tables), personnel on site during the event, and general cleaning (trash disposal, sweeping, restrooms).  Special Event Insurance is always required and Security is required for events of over 50 persons or includes alcoholic beverages.  Additional services may be provided at additional costs, including extended time and services.


DECORATIONS:  artspace is a full service space with a professional staff that has the ability to decorate your event.  Decorations can include floral arrangements, sets and props, specialty place settings and other items.  We are flexible with your set-up and break down needs and can help you with décor or if you need additional time for set-up.

AUDIO-VISUAL:  artspace can make your meeting or event spectacular with our in-house audio-visual equipment that includes flat screen TVs, projector, white screens, sound system and more.  Ask about additional costs to include these items.

MUSIC:  artspace can assist you in selecting music or musicians for your event. With a listing of hundreds of regional artists to choose from, we are certain that we can find the right sound to capture your theme.  Staging prices include the sound system.

CATERING & BAR: Choose the café @ artspace for FULL SERVICE catering of  your event on-site with bountiful buffets, plated table service or passed hors d’oeuvres.  You will work with our Executive Chef to customize your menu and meal presentation to complement your vision while we work creatively to meet your budgetary guidelines, yet satisfy the most discriminating palate and taste.  Our unique flair is guaranteed to please your guests. We have many bar options to service your guests, including cash bar or full service.

SECURITY:  Our security is provided by the Shreveport Police Department, their rate is $25 per officer, per hour.  One officer for every 75 guests is required, we will arrange for the services.

(These events must take place between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm, Tuesday - Thursday.)  
For groups of 75 or less, time periods include set up, event time and break down:
5 hours - $500 room rental
4 hours - $400 room rental

3 hours - or less - $300 room rental
For groups of 75 or more or for all day seminars (6 – 8 hours) - $600.00 room rental.
