In tandem with the Rainbow City installation in the newly completed Shreveport Common Park, the nationally acclaimed FriendsWithYou creative group will tell their story on the walls of artspace and give a behind the scenes look at what it takes to create large-scale installations like Rainbow City. FriendsWithYou are also the creators of the Netflix Orginal Series, Tru and the Rainbow Kingdom!

Renowned local photographer and writer Neil Johnson takes over the coolspace gallery of artspace to showcase rarely seen images from his personal work, with accompanying essays, that narrate a story of his journey in photography.

Summer of GlasS: The texas contemporary glass show

Curated by Eric Hess

An installation of the Texas Contemporary Glass Exhibition comes to the mainspace gallery of artspace this summer! Works of over 40 artists, in a wide variety of glass sculpting techniques, will be on display. This exhibition is curated by Eric Hess, local glass artist and international Stanislav Libenský Award winner.

Seizing the light

Robertson’s most recent solo exhibiton features works made of a repetition of recognizable individual elements which result in an unfamiliar new object, ranging from discarded firecracker tubes to soda pop caps, to buttons, to scrap hardware.
