PARADE OF TATTOOS

Mike Silva photographed the "parade" of almost 200 people who came to artspace to "show their tats". A committee then made the final selection of which tattoos would be exhibited.

In addition to presenting their artworks, the artists competed for two awards:
- $1,000 for the “Best of Show Award in Exhibition” went to Talbot Hopkins
- $1,000 for the “Best Of Show Award in Performance” went to Poetic X.

TRIUMPH OVER TRAGEDY

An Exhibition commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Great Depression/New Deal Era in North Louisiana. A tribute to the determination of the Human Spirit through the resilience of the people, places and events in North Louisiana from "Black Tuesday" through the start of World War II. Featuring these Artists and Scholars: Brad Arender, Jeannine Pasini Beekman, James V. Hart, Scarlett Hendricks, Adrienne Hooker, Neil Johnson, Rober Leighninger, Jr., Patrick Long, Robinson Film Center, Dee Scallon, and Dr. Susan Shillinglaw. This exhibition will tour the 21 parishes in North Louisiana after closing at artspace.
